MOWER SHOP TECH

Job Description

This position is responsible for diagnosis, service, and repair of small engine power equipment.  We are willing to train the right candidate with a mechanical background and a positive attitude.

Position Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair power equipment and small engine items including lawnmowers, outdoor power tools, 2-cycle and 4-cycle equipment, etc.
• Perform repairs in a timely manner and follow project/manager instructions
• Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain good customer records
• Completing and filing all warranty paperwork in a timely manner.
• Ability to interact with customers and associates in a professional, positive, and courteous manner, and promote teamwork.

Minimum requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1-3 years of shop or mechanic experience is highly preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills
• Weekend availability is required for full or part-time. 
• Open availability is required for full-time.
• Some heavy lifting is required
• Valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record for pick up/delivery of mowers
• Dependable transportation and reliable childcare (if applicable)
