Floor Associate
Reports to: Key carriers, Store Manager, or Store Owner
JOB SUMMARY
This position allows for multi-tasking on many different projects. Duties include stocking, retrieving carts from the parking lots, assisting customers with their questions, assembly of required product, and maintaining a clean work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills by consistently exceeding our customers' expectations of retail service. They assist customers with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, walking them to the product, and price questions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Give consistent GREAT quality customer service ensuring a successful shopping experience
Merchandise, stock, and assemble merchandise
Practice sound safety knowledge & best practices for materials handling
Maintain a clean and organized store – including recovery
May be required to cross train and perform other duties
Adhere to all company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient
Ability to work independently without supervision
Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld unit
Ability to complete computer-based training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Good visual acuity
Some heavy lifting is required
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
Ability to use a ladder and/or pallet jack
Ability to verbally communicate effectively and professionally with all audiences (in-person or via handheld transceiver)
