MOWER SHOP PARTS SUPERVISOR

Job Description
Mt. Carmel, IL Rural King Supply is looking for a Mower Shop Parts Supervisor. This position is primarily responsible for the maintaining of our parts department. This includes managing inventory and ordering parts for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- A minimum of 1-3 years of shop or mechanic experience preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of small engines or automotive repair a plus.
- Serve customers who purchase replacement parts and supplies required to properly maintain and service their agricultural and lawn and garden equipment.
- Record sales transactions accurately and keep bin inventory accurate.
- Provide timely and accurate technical support/information to customers (internal and external)
- Complete service reports, order parts, and maintain good customer records
- Keep accurate records of inventory receipted-in and sold in order to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Maintain the condition of company inventory, equipment, and tools
- Responsible for assisting service technicians by looking up parts required to complete customer, internal or warranty repairs.
Minimum requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a basic understanding of parts used in agriculture, lawn and sport equipment
- Above average computer skills including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Outlook, password management, internet navigation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnosis issues.
- Must be organized, detail orientated, and tolerate pressure
- Ability to interact with customers and associates in a professional, positive and courteous manner, and promote teamwork
- Valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record for pick up/delivery of mowers
- Dependable transportation and reliable childcare (if applicable)
Physical Requirements:
- Stands for long periods throughout the day.
- Continuously squats, stoops, or kneels and lifts objects from ground.
- Able to lift weight of up to 50 pounds. Occasionally carries and pushes/pulls weights of up to 75 pounds or more.
